Summary, etc. |
It is the story of plagues, a parting of the waters, and a man named Moses leads his people to freedom. But is there any truth to this tale of marvels and miracles? Strangely enough, modern science may support the extraordinary tale of Exodus. Epidemiologist have discovered clues that might explain the famous "Ten PLagues of Egypt" as a series of cascading biological catastrophes. Geologists believe they might explain the "pillars of fire" from holy Mount Sinai as an active volcano which erupted approximately the same time as the Ten Palgues. And finally, a maverick oceanography believes he can explain the parting of the Red Sea. We re-create the event with the help of underwater photographers and high-powered jet-boats. |
