<br/><br/> It is 1892, and the Filipinos are beginning to rebel against Spain, forcing the colonizers to crack down viciously against dissenters. While girding for war, Bonifacio, a widower, falls in love with Gregoria de Jesus. She proves to be Bonifacio's match
