520			_aTribes in the Northern Philippines have many rituals and traditions. Overtime, these ancient customs have eroded. Local elders want to keep these traditions alive and have found an unlikely ally- Kidlat Tahimik, an internationally-recognized independent filmmaker. Kidlat has spent the past four years using video to help revive the culture of one of the local tribes. He's holding workshops, training tribe members how to use the video cameras so that they can tape their customs and rituals for future generations to see.
